Graham BOWKER - Carver
Andrew Edgar is a sculptor/painter living in Bancroft, Ontario. His art work consists of soapstone carvings and paintings, acrylics on canvas and oil pastels. His soapstone objects and paintings are inspired by the Canadian landscape. Andrew's artwork is a combination of ideas gleaned from the works of the Group of Seven, Emily Carr, and Paul Cézanne. He is attempting to meld their visual language to express a new way of looking at and representing the Canadian landscape.
