Ostensibly a self-taught artist, John's primary medium is acrylics. His interpretation and style, whether painted on feather, canoe paddle or canvas, are unique and one of a kind. The detail and depth of understanding, depicted within each piece, promotes respect for nature and our environment. No matter what the subject, John breathes life and a spirit into them. Much as the native people understand the timelessness of the land and natural history, John sees in his pieces that same essence.
