Brigitte NOWAK – Painter

Brigitte was born in Berlin, Germany and received her B.A. in Fine Art at the University of Guelph. She continued her studies in art taking courses at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Brigitte currently lives in Toronto and spends summers on an island in Georgian Bay. She works primarily in egg tempera, known since ancient times for its luminous and subtle colour properties. She also works in oils and screen printing. Her work has been displayed in numerous solo and group exhibitions for over 30 years.
