Pat REYNOLDS – Fabric Artist
Pat is a retired elementary classroom teacher and educational consultant. She began quilting in 2000 and has taken numerous classes and courses in Peterborough and Haliburton. Pat has won many prizes for her fabric creations and enjoys sharing her techniques with students in various instructional environments.
“I love the variety of colours, textures and values found in fabrics. Although I have made a number of traditional blocks and quilts, I especially like pictorial quilts and the challenge of adding three dimensional and textural elements to my work.” Many of her scenes are developed on pieced backgrounds. She likes to experiment by incorporating other techniques, such as beading, pin weaving and silk fusion. Pat makes her home on Drag Lake, in Haliburton County.
